Cake Wallet turns self-custody into a simple, approachable product experience. We keep the interface light, the build static and the theme switch instant.
In 2018, Cake Wallet started as a small product experiment built around privacy, clarity and a lighter way to manage digital assets. The goal was never to ship more interface than needed. The goal was to make every step feel obvious.
Over time, the team refined the product into a compact system: fast pages, clean navigation, straightforward content blocks and a theme layer that stays responsive without adding friction.
Today the focus remains the same. We are shaping a base that can grow with new brand content later, while staying small, accessible and easy to maintain right now.

Cake Wallet started in 2018 as the first Monero wallet for iOS and grew into a multi-currency, self-custody wallet for mobile, desktop and the browser. This site is the web interface: the same wallet engine, the same coin support and the same privacy defaults, without an installation step.
The project is free and open source. Trade, send and receive crypto, keep several wallets apart, and read the code that handles your keys. No e-mail, phone number or KYC profile is needed to open a wallet — a recovery phrase is the only credential, and it never belongs to us.
Native builds are published for iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux, with the web wallet available in any modern browser. All of them share the same seed formats, so a phrase created on one platform restores on another — see the download guide and the restore guide for the step-by-step version.
It is the same wallet logic and interface in a browser build: the seed phrases, addresses and balances are identical, and a wallet created in the app opens in the browser with the same phrase.
iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux for the native app, plus any modern browser for the web version.
Yes — Cake Wallet is open source and non-custodial, which means the key derivation and address generation can be independently reviewed.
No. There are no sign-ups, e-mail confirmations or phone numbers: access is the recovery phrase, nothing else.
