Cake Wallet login and dashboard

The Cake Wallet dashboard is the login surface of the web wallet: you either create a fresh wallet or restore an existing one with its recovery phrase. There is no e-mail, password or account to confirm — the phrase is the credential and the wallet is derived locally in this browser.

Restoring an existing wallet

  1. Choose Restore wallet from seed.
  2. Pick the phrase length you have: 16 words (Polyseed), 12 or 24 words (BIP39), or 25 words (Monero).
  3. Enter the words in order and confirm — the same phrase always restores the same addresses and balances.
  4. Add more wallets later from the Wallet menu; up to 10 seed phrases can be kept side by side.

Staying safe

Bookmark this domain and type it by hand instead of following links from chat or e-mail. Keep the recovery phrase offline, and close the tab when you finish on a shared machine. Full pointer set: Cake Wallet login guide, restore guide, web wallet guide.

Dashboard questions

How do I log in to Cake Wallet Web?

Open the dashboard and choose Restore wallet from seed: the phrase is the login. There is no e-mail or password account, and the wallet loads locally in the browser.

Is the dashboard safe to use on a shared computer?

Use a private window and close the tab when you are done, and never leave a written recovery phrase on the machine.

How many wallets can I keep here?

Up to 10 wallets (seed phrases) per dashboard, switchable from the Wallet menu.

What does “sync” mean?

The dashboard checks the blockchain for the addresses derived from your phrase; a wallet with history may take a little longer than an empty one.
